U9 Development Program

To align programming with the Hockey Canada and OHF U9 Pathways, SMMHA is running a new U9 Development Program. In previous years, SMMHA U9 teams would each have 1 individual practice per week along with weekly shared ice practices rotated among the teams. This season, instead of the extra shared ice team practices, SMMHA is running a program that allows players to individually sign up for extra ice time.

Structure:
Total Package Hockey (TPH) utilizing 2 instructors per session will program and lead a season long player development program that is supported by SMMHA U9 coaches.

Ice Times:
Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm and 5:00-6:00pm.

Groups:
Players will be divided into 2 or 3 groups (depending on registration numbers) and a season long weekly schedule will be posted on the SMMHA website that rotates groups through the ice times.

Cost:
$280 per player.

Registration Details:
Register online using the following form: U9 Development Program Registration.

Registration Deadline:
Registration closes Sunday, Sept 24.

Start Date:
The first session is Tuesday, Sept 26.
