SMMHA Refund Policy - 2020/21 Season (last updated August 24, 2020)

Return to hockey will be guided by the OHF Framework, direction from local public health officials, and availability of local facilities. The 2020/21 SMMHA hockey season is being organized as programs in-line with stages according to OHF Framework.

Registration will be based on SMMHA approved programs aligned to OHF stages over the course of the season. As we progress, SMMHA will re-assess the program, what stage(s) we are at, and what other opportunities we can and will be permitted to offer to our players based on the OHF, local health officials, and the town of St. Marys.

All current and future program and registration details will be communicated by SMMHA. Please refer to the registration web page for further details.

Registration fees are non-refundable with the exception of medical reasons. Insurance fees are non-refundable.

If a player is deemed medically unfit to play hockey, a refund request will be considered. Written confirmation by a licensed medical practitioner must be provided in support of a refund request. The amount of any refund will be determined based on the date the player is no longer able to participate and the portion of season remaining.

All refund requests must be submitted online using the Refund/Reimbursement Request Form. Refunds may take up to 30 days to be processed and funds returned.
