U9 Player Development Program

To align programming with the Hockey Canada and OHF U9 Pathways, SMMHA is running a U9 Player Development Program.  This program is designed to give SMMHA registered U9 players the option to access extra ice time and development opportunities outside of their regularly scheduled team practices.


Structure:

Total Package Hockey (TPH) utilizing 2 instructors per session will program and lead a season long player development program that is supported by SMMHA U9 coaches. 


Ice Times:

Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm and 5:00-6:00pm. 


Groups: 

Players will be divided groups and a season long weekly schedule will be posted on the SMMHA website that rotates groups through the ice times.

Players have the option to choose a 18 session or 9 session package.

Note: SMMHA may run some sessions of this program on ½ or full ice based on numbers.


Cost:

18 sessions: $275 per player

9 sessions: $140 per player

E-transfer at time of completing the below registration form is required to secure a spot in the program.


Registration Details:

Registration using the U9 PDP Online Form (link) is required. Registration officially open Monday, September 8 (midnight Sunday). Registration closes Friday, September 19, 2025.


Start Date:

The first session is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept 23, 2025
