Update - Tryout Schedules Posted, Body Checking Clinic, and NRP/PTT Players Welcomed!
OMHA A and OWHA B Tryouts
Reminder, St. Marys Minor Hockey is hosting OMHA 'A' boys team and OWHA 'B' girls team spring tryouts. In addition to individual team tryouts, a goalies only mandatory tryout session is scheduled. Please refer to
Tryout Schedule for all tryout dates.
OMHA players from outside St. Marys are welcome to attend U12A-U16A team tryouts using an OMHA Non Resident Player (NRP) form. Contact your home centre to obtain a signed NRP form. No additional fee is required to obtain a NRP form. Tryout registration is required using the
online form on the website.
OWHA players from outside St. Marys are welcome to attend U11B-U18B tryouts using an OWHA Permission to Tryout (PTT) form. Contact your home centre to obtain a signed NRP form. No additional fee is required to obtain a PTT form. Tryout registration is required using
RAMP.
Refer to
Tryout webpage for details and to register by April 26 (girls teams) and May 1 (boys teams). Tryout registration and payment is done using
HCR (boys) and
RAMP (girls). If you are a boy on a NRP, you register using the webform and bring cash payment to first tryout.
U14/U15 Body Checking Clinic
Body Checking Clinic is scheduled for Monday, April 29 7-9pm (7pm in class and 8pm on ice). Any player trying out for U14A or U15A who has not yet taken a body checking clinic must attend a clinic prior to first tryout skate. If you did not attend a clinic, you won't be able to attend tryouts. Cost is $20 to be paid at clinic. Players registered for SMMHA tryouts will be given first priority.
