Sunday, September 24 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm SMMHA is providing a free coaches seminar for all current and aspiring coaches in our program.
The seminar will start at 6:00 on the Rock Rink with an on ice session designed to show coaches some basic fundamentals and drills that can be used in practice to help your goalies learn and progress in the position.
The second part of the seminar will take place in the EndZone, where a representative from TPH will present videos and information designed to provide coaches with strategies to help maximize the effectiveness of practice time. Key topics will include teaching techniques, on ice ratios, player engagement and the effective utilization of small area games to teach/train the game of hockey.
