Spring Session Reimbursement Information
Submitted By Rachael Torrance on Mon 04 12, 21
SMMHA Players and Families,
Unfortunately, as you know, we had to end our 2020-2021 season last week due to the provincial lockdown. As disappointed as we all are, we were pleased to be able to offer some ice time to our players during the spring session.

With the abrupt end to our season, we will be offering two options for reimbursement:
- Credit will be given to all returning players and applied to your registration fees for the 2021-2022 season
- Refunds will be issued for all players not returning for the 2021-2022 season

Reimbursements (credit or refund) will be in the amount of $90 for Initiation players and $160 for any players in U9-U18.

Credits will automatically be applied to player registrations for the upcoming season unless we receive a refund request form for your player.

In order to receive a refund, you must complete a refund request form online with accurate contact information including the player's full name, division, full name of guardian and current email address and phone number.  Refunds will not be issued without this information.  The deadline for refunds in April 20th - late requests will not be accepted.

The refund request for can be found here:

Please ensure that all jerseys and equipment have been returned to your coach and/or our Equipment Manager. If you have not yet returned your player's jersey, please make arrangements with Lori Hall to do so as soon as possible ([email protected]). As previously posted, players will be assessed a $100 fee to replace any jerseys not returned in good condition.

We are anticipating a more traditional return to hockey in September and hope to have more information about the 2021-2022 season and registration available in the coming weeks. Please continue to check the website regularly for updates on these items.

Thank you again to everyone for your commitment and support of minor hockey during the past year. We look forward to seeing you back on the ice in September.
