Message from SMMHA President
Submitted By Rachael Torrance on Monday, January 18, 2021
Dear SMMHA players, families, coaches, and directors,

We hope that everyone is staying safe and well during the recent provincial lockdown.

This is certainly a difficult time for all of us as we adjust to these new restrictions and challenges once again.

At this point, we would like to inform our SMMHA members that the Town of St. Marys has decided to remove the ice at the PRC effective immediately.  We are all hopeful that we might be able to return to the arena in the spring to finish our season but that will depend  on further direction from the provincial government and local health authorities after this lockdown.

We will continue to update our members when we have more information regarding the ice and/or any further programming this year.  In the meantime, continue to watch the website for updates.  Now is a great time to check over your equipment and clean your jersey if you have one at home.  Please keep these in good condition to be returned to the arena at a later date.

We would like to thank everyone for your support and commitment to SMMHA during the past few months and we hope to see you at the arena again soon.
Take care and stay safe.
Best regards,
Kristene McCurdy
President, SMMHA
