Message from SMMHA President
Submitted By Rachael Torrance on Saturday, May 9, 2020
Dear SMMHA players, families, coaches, and directors,

It is our hope that all of our SMMHA members are safe and well during these unprecedented times. We hope that you have been able to navigate through the new realities and challenges of everyday life.

In the midst of continued uncertainty, please remember that the health, safety, and well-being of our members remain our top priority.

Due to the social distancing policies still in place, SMMHA will be postponing our AGM originally planned for this month. The new date will be posted as soon as social distancing regulations allow and once we receive more direction from our governing bodies (Hockey Canada, OMHA, and OWHA). We also hope to have more information about other events and plans (tryouts, interviews, etc.) as they become available. Your continued support, patience and understanding is appreciated.

At this point, we also want to thank all members who provide an essential service to our community. We appreciate your time and commitment during these challenging times. We look forward to seeing you and all members of SMMHA at the arena soon.

Take care and stay safe.
Best regards,
Kristene McCurdy
President, SMMHA
