The Lucan Peewee Rep team has been working hard to bring awareness to mental health issues since the loss of a local athlete, Nick Smith to suicide.

Through their #hockeytalks campaign the Lucan Peewee Rep team has raised over $3000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association.

On December 12th, 2019 Lucan Minor Hockey invites members of the St Marys hockey community to join them to hear TSN's Michael Landsberg talk about mental health. They would love to come together as hockey communities to bring more awareness to mental health, particularly men's mental health.  Lucan Minor Hockey would love to see some St Marys jerseys in the crowd.

All proceeds will go to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Tickets are being sold at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/michael-landsberg-talks-mental-health-tickets-82086832927
