Proposed Amendment to By-Laws

Please Note: The following proposed amendment to SMMHA By-Laws Article 31 will be discussed at the next monthly meeting scheduled for Oct 2, 2019.

MOTION: That Article 31: Notice be rewritten as:

31.1    Amendments to the By-laws: Any proposed amendment to the by-laws must be
  placed in the local media and/or on the SMMHA website at least ten days before
  the membership meeting where the proposed amendment will be discussed.

31.2    Any legal document(including any communication or document sent by SMMHA
  to another party) shall be deemed to be legally given if it is physically mailed,
  mailed/posted electronically or is the advertisement in physical or electronic media.
