Coaches for 2018/19 Season

SMMHA is pleased to announce the new head coaches for the upcoming 2018-19 season. Head coaches have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on and off the ice. These volunteer coaches will use their coaching philosophy, dedication and experience to make the upcoming season great for all players and families. 

  • Novice BB - TBA
  • Novice Girls - Ray Cousineau 
  • Atom BB - Reg Clinton
  • Atom AE - Matt King
  • Atom Girls - Jeff Jones
  • Peewee BB - Dwain Smith
  • Peewee AE - Sean Porter
  • Peewee Girls - Bill McPhail
  • Bantam BB - Brandon Boyd
  • Bantam AE - Dale Switzer
  • Bantam B Girls - Elizabeth Simpson
  • Bantam C Girls - TBA
  • Minor Midget - Robb McIntosh
  • Major Midget - Brent Nairn


SMMHA would like to thank all applicants for their interest. It’s great to have so many people interested in contributing to minor hockey coaching.  

Applications for Local League (LL) head coach positions are due by July 31, 2018. Applications can be sent to Coaches Committee Chair: Mark Brintnell at [email protected]
