SMMHA Needs Your Help!!!
Submitted By jbrock on Tuesday, May 1, 2018
Each year, a dedicated group of volunteers put in numerous hours to ensure that all of the things that help to make a hockey season run smoothly are done.

There are a small number of folks who make this happen, and at this point in the season, we are looking for some help to make sure that we can continue to offer a great experience for our players and their families.

Please consider putting your name forward for a leadership position, or at the very least, consider attending a monthly meeting (generally held on the first Tuesday of each month) to learn more about how you can help SMMHA maintain the programs and supports that are currently in place.

When people come to our monthly meetings, they will have a vote that can influence the future direction of the organization.  New ideas are always welcome, and while we do our very best to represent the thoughts and wishes of our members, without individuals to share these ideas, they sometimes get lost.

SMMHA, having just completed it's 60th season in operation, and coming off one of the more successful seasons with 3 girls teams competing in the provincial tournament, two boys teams in the OMHA finals, and one team, our Atom AE team winning the OMHA provincial championship, is poised for future success, building on the accomplishments of this past season.

If you have the time, energy, or ideas that can help ensure SMMHA is successful in the short and long term, we encourage you to put your name forward, or recommend someone else who might be a great member of our team.
