SMMHA Awards Results

SMMHA held its annual awards dinner on Tues May 12 at the St. Marys Legion. 

We would like to congratulate all the nominees and winners from this year.

Here are the results:

FEMALE AWARDS

Ernie Little Trophy for outstanding female goalie:  Sarah Lucas

Lindsay Atkinson Memorial Award for most sportsmanlike female, on and off the ice: Courtney Schaefer

Doug Hicks Memorial Trophy for outstanding leadership by a female player: Keeley Baker

Dixies Award for most skillful and hardest-working female player in the SMMHA: Megan Spence


MALE AWARDS

Donald K. Mossip Memorial Award for outstanding male goalie - Ryan Van Dam

Mike Mattiussi Award for most sportsmanlike male player, on and off the ice - Ben Frehner

Terry Crisp Award for most colourful and hardest-working player - Brandon Kittmer

Bob Searles Award for most outstanding male player in the SMMHA - Haydn Favacho

VOLUNTEER AWARDS

Ferris Stewart Memorial Award, which recognizes a coach for their excellence and dedication to the players of the SMMHA  : Brian DeGroote

Pethick Memorial Award for outstanding contribution and dedication to SMMHA: Pete Frehner
