Police Checks
Submitted By Pete Frehner on Thursday, July 31, 2014
OMHA and Hockey Canada requires that all volunteers (coaches, trainers, managers and on ice helpers) get a Police records check (vulnerable sector screening).  This can be done for FREE at your local police station (Sebringville OPP for most St Marys residents)
This needs to be done before you can volunteer with the team.  If you have had a search done recently (ie for baseball, scouting or school) SMMHA will accept this.

You will need to take a copy of this letter Police Check Letter 2014-15.pdf  and complete this form VSSS Police Form 2013-07.pdf

This process can take several weeks so please get your record checks done soon.

Once you have received the response from the OPP, take the completed form in a sealed envelope and put it in the mailslot at the arena under the stairs labeled "Police Check"
