St Marys Legion Midget AE's won the regional silver stick tournament in Collingwood for the second straight year beating Mt Brydges in a shootout.

After a record of 2-0-1 in the round robin, St Marys Legion Midget AE's went on to eliminate Midland in the semi finals, earning their spot in the finals.   After the second semi final game, it was to be St Marys vs Mt Brydges for the second time in as many days.

After three periods of hockey, the score tied 1-1, overtime solved nothing - off to a shootout.   With Mitch Blacklock steady between the pipes, it was Tyler Jarrett and Brady St Louis scoring in the shootout to punch St Marys ticket to the International Silverstick finals in Niagara Falls, Jan 9-12, 2014.

Congratulations to the boys and coaching staff on a job well done.
