2024 SPRING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

St. Marys Minor Hockey is offering a 4 week development program that will run April 3-29 to help our members further develop their skills and prepare for their upcoming tryouts.

The Spring Development Program fulfils the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) requirements that associations offer their members practice/skill sessions prior to the formal evaluation (tryout) process.

OWHA Player Development
  • For SMMHA (OWHA) members 2007-2015
  • Groups of 15-20 skaters will be created with age and skill in mind
  • Players will receive 4 ice sessions - Instructors TBD
  • Program Cost: $80/participant

U10-U18 Player Development
  • For SMMHA members 2007-2015
  • Players will receive 4 ice sessions run by TPH instructors and SMMHA staff
  • Program Cost: $80/participant

U9 Player Development
  • For SMMHA members 2016 and 2017
  • Players will receive 4 ice sessions run by TPH and SMMHA staff
  • Program Cost: $80/participant

Goalie Development
  • For SMMHA Goalies 2007-2015
  • Goalies will receive 4 ice sessions run by outside goalie instructors and supported by SMMHA staff
  • Program Cost: $90/participant
  • Goalies will also be able to sign up to participate in player development sessions with their age group at no cost

Ice Times
  • Player Development Sessions are Mondays 5-8pm and Wednesdays 5-9pm, beginning April 3
  • Goalie Development Sessions are Thursdays 6-7pm, (except Thurs Apr 18 7-8pm)
  • Groupings and ice schedule will be released after registration numbers are finalized.

Registration for all programs closes Wednesday March 20 but on ice spots are limited and may fill quickly, so register early.
A completed spring development program registration form and e-transfer is considered fully registered for the program.
